On social media, a video depicting a hotel being flown by artificial intelligence that “never lands” has gone popular and sparked some questions.
According to a global news station, the aeroplane known as “Sky Cruise” was created by Hashem Al-Ghaili and can hold 5,000 passengers. It has 20 nuclear-powered engines. It does not land while travelling, and according to the aircraft’s creator, maintenance is performed while the aircraft is in the air.
“All this technology and you still want pilots?” he asked, referring to it as “the future of transportation.” It will be entirely autonomous, in my opinion.
The cruise ship offers her passengers a 360-degree view of the sky and features amenities like a movie theatre, a restaurant, wedding chapels, and conference rooms, among others.
Although the debut date has not yet been set, social media users have had differing opinions of the idea.
During the end of the world, one user speculated, “I feel like this is where all the affluent people are going to hide, and simply fly around above all the rest of the planet while everyone is fighting each other Mad Max-style.”
I’m sure I could afford a ticket on the lowest deck with no room for legs and no access to the lounge, a another user remarked.
