The Nova 10 and Nova 10 Pro are two new phones that Huawei has added to its line-up. The selfie camera, battery life, and a slight display size change are the only significant differences between the two phones.
Design and Display
The 6.67-inch curved OLED display on the Huawei Nova 10 boasts a 1080p resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate for fluid scrolling. It has a 10-bit display that supports HDR10 and has one billion colours. The fingerprint reader is located underneath the screen.
Nova 10 Pro has a little larger 6.78-inch panel than the standard model but the same display specifications. The pill-shaped selfie camera cutout, which contains a dual-lens arrangement, is the primary visual distinction. This augments the primary selfie camera with a second ultrawide camera.
Internals and Storage
When it comes to internals, the two phones are identical. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G SoC, a precursor to the current Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor, powers both phones. There is only one 8GB RAM option, but both phones feature 128GB/256GB of storage. No microSD card slot is present.
It boots Harmony OS 2.0 instead of Google Mobile Services because it is a Huawei phone.
Cameras
The 50MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultrawide camera, and a 2MP depth sensor are all part of the main camera setup, which is also the same. This camera can capture videos in 4K, 1080p at 60 frames per second, and 720p in slow motion. OIS is absent, although electronic image stabilisation is available (EIS).
Although the 60MP selfie cameras on both phones are excellent, only the Pro model has a second 8MP ultrawide camera.
Battery and Pricing
The Nova 10’s battery size is capped at 4,000 mAh with 66W fast charging, whereas the Nova 10 Pro has a 4,500 mAh cell and 100W charging. The phone may receive an 80% charge from this in just 10 minutes.
For $403 and $553, respectively, Huawei Nova 10 and 10 Pro will be offered in Black, Silver, Green, and Violet colour variants.
